Perhaps the district of “Lomo Hilos” is one of the most interesting and charming that Santa Úrsula has. From here, you can see how the “Barranquillo del Cuervo”, a high-flow ravine, flows into the ravine of Barranco de La Quinta. It has great natural beauty in its interior, and as we look upwards we find the great elevation on which the eastern part of the urban area of our municipality sits, which begins on Calle La Bastona, just in front of this place.

Festivities in honour of Saint Rita and the Holy Cross of Lomo Hilos

They began in the 60s-70s in honour of the Holy Cross. Later, the statue of Saint Rita of Cassia was bought and the festival held at the end of May, until in the late 1990s when it was changed to the beginning of June to take advantage of the summer heat. (More information)
